We are so excited to be hosting this in-house event where our youth students can put into practice their creative gifts. We will be working throughout the summer with practice times on Wednesdays from 2PM - 6PM before youth group. This is a fundraising and missions opportunity for our students, with the culmination being a fundraising night for the whole church to come and watch our qualifying acts present their gifts, according to the model of 1 Timothy 4 which encourages us to "present our gifts in front of the elders". We will have judges with expertise in each category able to give practical critiques as well as spiritual and prophetic words spoken over each student that presents.
*Important information for students:
Category sign-ups will be $10 for the first event, and $5 for each additional category - UNTIL May 28th
After this date, Category sign-ups will be $20 for the first event, and $10 for each additional category - UNTIL June 18th, when registration will close. Registration will not be re-opened for ANY reason.
Our goal is to raise funds for the following ventures:
Youth Revolution: 10% to help with the general youth budget
India BAM initiative: 45%
Tower Pay-off: 45%
Each event that the students want to be apart of will have a base charge which will go toward purchasing food for the Presentation Night on Sunday night, August 3rd.
We will ask for each person to donate $10 for the dinner portion of the Presentation Night (or $20 per family). Donations for the dinner and anything given above and beyond will go toward our initiatives.
