HERE WE ARE AGAIN!!! Another year of our FAMOUS annual Youth Rafting Trip. This is a trip we the youth at Refuge City Church look forward to all year long. It is a bitter sweet (mostly sweet) trip that we take every year and welcome our up coming 6th graders and say farewell to our graduates. It is always a blast and a fun opportunity to get soaked in the Rogue River and have fun with friends. We leave the church at 7:45am on August 16 and go to Shady Cove Oregon to get dropped off in the river. Then we will spend a little time at the mall after we are done rafting. After that we should be home between 5pm and 6pm. I'll have students text or call to try to give a heads up. Cost is $35 and if they want extra for the mall they can leave it in the van while we're rafting. Sign up today! Registration closes August 7th.

The first class - July 10 - will be our launch class and will get you onboarded. Children's Ministry and Nursery will be available. If you've been waiting to attend because of scheduling, childcare, or financial difficulty, all those challenges have been met! Youth Revolution summer park nights are a BLAST!!! What a great way to connect with our youth students and have some fun to kick off the summer. The vision behind these 3 weeks of fun is to give our youth ministry a breather. They just got done with school and to be honest, they're tired of just sitting and listening. So to help them re-engage we take them out for some intentional fun and fellowship so they can reset and jump right into to the rest of the summer with us. If you have a youth student who'd like to start out the summer with some fun, bring them to Wiard Park at 2800 Wiard ST., Klamath Falls, OR 97603. The only requirement is that they are dropped off and picked up from the park. We will not be providing transportation to or from the park. Can't wait to see you!

Miles Minnick is an up-and-coming Christian rap artist from the Bay Area. Our youth network in Klamath Basin (aka the youth pastors in our community) have planned a rap concert for our teenagers for outreach and evangelism. Our goal is to see as many teens there as possible so they can hear the gospel of Jesus in a way that speaks to them directly. D.E.S. (Disciple. Equip. Send.) is our summer discipleship program for 2024 and is for High schoolers and those who are coming out of 8th grade. It is similar to what we have done the last 4 summers with PRIME, however, it may not be as in depth in some ways. The goal this summer is outreach and personal connection with the Holy Spirit as opposed to deep biblical theology. There will be theology tied into the conversation as we pursue God but it is much more about our young people learning how to connect with the Lord for themselves through the disciplines we see in scripture. If they live a disciplined life of Christ pursuing Him everyday, they'll find Him and encounter Him. If they don't, then they probably won't connect with the love of God very well. There comes a moment in every persons life where they have to make the choice to serve Jesus for themselves. I believe for several students, D.E.S. Is their opportunity. Please have your young person join if they are able. They must be coming out of 8th grade and going into 9th at the end of summer to join. Cost is $150.
